There is some healthy competition coming in for the Nokia N91 phone which boasts of a 4GB of memory space. The N91 was the first phone to deliver that but is now successfully followed by the Sony Ericsson W950i which also comes with 4GB of flash memory. The phone adds a touch screen TFT display which definitely does enough to out do the N91 or does it? The N91 comes with a 2 Megapixel camera which the SE phone does not have.
The Sony Ericsson W950 is very similar to the M600 in terms of looks and dimensions. The main difference is noticeably the missing QWERTY keypad and the presence of high storage capacity. The phone does not come with a Camera so if you are one of those people looking for an ‘All in one’ package then you probably need to look away. Other important features like 3G, Bluetooth and FM Radio come with the phone.
Would you go for the N91 or the W950 is totally your choice. If you fancy a touch screen and a better looking phone you can go with the Sony Ericsson, but if you want a couple of more features like Camera and Wi-Fi then N91 would be a better choice.

The mobile phones are getting smaller by the day and soon we shall see one which fits in your ear for that matter. The UK and Dubai based company, Neo has come out with another tiny phone and this time it is in the form of the 808i.
The Neo 808i comes in a very different landscape design and a shinny fancy keypad. The phone could have done better with a wider display but we will have to go with the 1.8inch LCD screen. The phone also houses a 1.3 mega pixel camera along with a 128 mb of flash memory for storing those great pictures you take. Along with the 128mb memory there is also a microSD card slot which can take memory cards up to 1GB in size. There are other features too, like a MP3 player and Bluetooth compatibility.
The phone weighs around 90 grams which is not extremely light, but definitely on the lighter side and measures about 6.7 x 4.1 x 1.3 cms. The Neo 808i is due to be released in 2007.

Orange has been working as team with Acoustic Energy to roll out their new product which is the Bluetooth Loudspeaker system. This is very similar to the ones released by BenQ and Sony which also work on the A2DP technology i.e., the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile.
All you have to do is keep your phone or PDA within 10 meters of this gadget and you can enjoy great quality music on this pretty powerful and effective system. The Loudspeaker has a 20 watt amplifier which is better than its counterparts and also has the feature to separate the two mini speakers. The mini speakers can be detached from whole set and be kept from main amplifier. In addition to using the wireless functionality of this gadget it also comes with a 3.5mm input jack so you can attach your non-Bluetooth systems and enjoy the music.
The loudspeakers do not have the best of looks, but are very effective. The price of this speaker set is close to $150 and it is a perfect gift for the holiday season!

The Samsung SPH-P9000 is the latest phone announced by Samsung and it is surely one of the most stand out ones we have seen in a long time. The device is due to be released in early 2007 and was announced just last week. It is a EV-DO, i.e. a 3G CDMA phone and comes with WiMax support. So you can be assured you will have the fastest data transfer wherever you go.
The Samsung SPH-P9000 comes with a 262,000 colors screen with a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone is extremely heavy at 560 grams, yes, that’s about 1lb! The P9000 measures 5.6 x 3.5 x 1.2 inches and is definitely a very bulky phone. It comes with a 1.3 mega pixel camera and has a 30GB hard disk! Yes we are talking about a device which is almost a computer and yet a phone. You can call it a handheld capable of making voice calls.
The handheld device also comes with a Bluetooth but does not have the primitive Infrared which is not even needed nowadays. On the whole we think this is where the future lies and we will be seeing more of these in the coming years, but lighter ones ofcourse.
