The Sony Ericsson M600 is a Tri band GSM phone along with UMTS support. The phone weighs about 110 grams and measures close to 107 x 57 x 15 mm. The M600 has a 256k color TFT screen which measures 39 x 53mm with a 240 x 320 pixel display resolution.
There are a couple of really good things we like about the phone. One of them is the QWERTY keypad which can be used along with the touch screen for doing your work faster. We have previously seen phones like P8xx/P9xx series phones from Sony Ericsson in which you can use only one feature at a time. This one will let you combine both and will certainly deliver a blackberry experience. The SE M600 also comes with a rock solid Symbian OS v9.1 and has 3G support along with HSCD and GPRS.
The battery life is pretty good on this phone provided you are using it with a GSM network. The talk time goes really low if a UMTS network is used, and you will barely be able to sneak in 2-3 hours talk time. The M600 does not have a camera, which makes this phone mainly for business users and people who don’t use the camera much and are prepared to carry their cybershot along with them.

Voxtel has come out with their new Pocket PC phone edition and it comes with couple of heavily loaded features. We still don’t know a whole lot of information about this phone but we can definitely feel the macro look of the phone. The Voxtel W740 is a Tri band GSM phone which works with 900 / 1800 / 1900 networks.
The normal features like Bluetooth, Usb port, HTML browser and GPRS find their place in the phone. The W740 comes with a stunning 4 mega pixel camera with autofocus functions. We are not sure if it includes flash, but for such a high quality cam the flash would be a tremendous addition. The handset has a very good 2.4 inch QVGA touch screen.
The Voxtel W740 is loaded with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC edition, and is powered with a 200 MHz OMAP730 processor. There is also 64mb RAM and 128 mb ROM in the phone. The only downside could be the missing QWERTY keypad, but we will take this as it is. Also to add, there is a microSD card slot which can take memory cards upto 2GB in size.
