It is although not certain if this speed will be the end user speed provided or just a theoretical number provided. All indications say that it could very high speeds that the consumer may enjoy. Telstra which is based in Australia is also set to begin with a similar service for its consumer base in that region.
The advantage of this service will the usage of such a high speed connection on your laptops using a PCMCIA slot.
